42ND DURGA PUJA OF NABANKUR SANGHA COMES WITH LIGHT AND COLOURS

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri, 5th October, 2016: Nabankur Sangha is celebrating its 42nd Year of Durga Puja. It is bringing its unique theme ‘Alor Khelai Ronger Mela’. Like the previous year this year too Nabankur Sangha Durga Puja committee has constructed its Puja Pandal adjacent to Siliguri’s Margaret Sister Nivedita High School at Pradhan Nagar’s Nibedita Road. TNI spoke to the Puja Committee secretary Mr. Satyabrata. It can be considered as a Blockbuster Puja of Siliguri as the puja budget is around Rs. 14 lakhs this year. He spoke about the theme and its depiction of the Puja pandal of Nabankur Sangha. As far as the security is concerned the club officials have made enough arrangements to provide security to the visitors of the Puja Pandal. The security is concerned the system is divided into electronic, administrative security (to be provided by Siliguri Police Commissionerate) and private security along with 50 odd volunteers of the club will all be there throughout the nights of the puja. The inauguration will be done by MIC Tourism Mr. Gautam Deb tomorrow i.e. on 6th October 2016. Nabankur Sangha has already distributed clothes to the poor by the MIC Tourism Mr. Gautam Deb. Mr. Satyabrata invites to all the Siligurians to come to see their puja and enjoy the festivities of Durga Puja with solidarity and unity in this trouble times of India.
